Home Insurance

Buildings and Contents Insurance

If you own your own home, you’ll need to have home insurance to provide financial protection in case something unexpected happens to it, such as damage or theft. It’s usually a condition of your mortgage and, if you’re a landlord, it’s your responsibility – not your tenants.

Home insurance is a general term used to describe two different types of insurance – buildings insurance for the building structure and permanent fixtures and fittings, like kitchens and bathrooms, and contents insurance for the things you keep in your home, like furniture, TVs and personal belongings.

You can buy both types of insurance separately, or in many cases, you can get them as a joint policy from one insurance company.

Using our extensive list of home insurance providers, our team will be happy to help you in finding the right policy to meet your needs.

What our clients say

Morning Derek and Sasha, Thanks so much for all your help in making the completion process as smooth as possible. Everything went as planned on Friday!
We recently used Lewis for the second time to sort out another 2 year mortgage and I'm certain we'll be contacting him in two years time to get his help again. If every company we dealt with had someone like Lewis on the other end of the phone our lives would be a lot simpler!

Derek, thank you for all of your help with finding us our first mortgage. We are now settled in our new home and couldn’t be happier! Look forward to working with you again in the future!.
Absolutely the best service received through the whole home buying process. Lewis was an absolute professional, nothing was ever too much trouble. We first looked to remortgage but then decided to buy...he guided us through everything and was also on the end of the phone or responded to emails instantly. There was no hard sell and really had our best interests at the centre of everything. Highly recommend these guys.
